SINGING WITHOUT BELIEVING
Why is it we can sing hymns or whose theology we no longer agree with and find the experience meaningful? How is it we can enjoy, say, Handel’s Messiah, without fully believing in the Messiah? What if religion were not a matter of “belief,” but something else?
